Gabriel and Ana Sofia

I met Gabriel and Ana Sofia through a great friend now living in Mexico. They arrived in San Pedro in the spur of the moment; they had my number, called me up and we met for lunch at Victoria House.

They are a wonderful couple who travel a lot because of their jobs and a weekend escape to San Pedro was perfect for them. Mind you, this was their second visit; but they fell in love with the island on their first trip and the lure of being so close was more than enough for them.

Visiting nearby Chetumal Mexico, Gabriel and Ana Sofia noticed a sign that said "San Pedro Water Jets; he inquired about the trip and the one and a half hour ride direct to san Pedro sold it to them. “This is something great for San Pedro”, they say. “Very convenient for travelers.”

On Sunday, March, 13, they celebrated their first anniversary as a married couple. Gabriel and Ana Sofia love the island and Belize and assured me that they will be back to visit and tell all of their family and friends about La Isla Bonita.
