San Pedro High Baseball Team Receives Equipment

Sunday, July 8, 2012, The San Pedro High School Baseball Team gathered at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium, where they all had the previledge to  meet Mr. Chris Bonnet from International Sports Outreach. Mr. Bonnet had some very inspiring words and experiences to share with the team and also was very proud to know that they are the first ever baseball team in the country of Belize.

The SPHS Baseball team was very honored to have received a huge donation of equipment from Mr. Bonnet. Mr. Marion Mejia (Coach and Manager), Mr. Paul Kelly and Mr. Derrick Jones shared some kind words and gave thanks to Mr. Bonnet for contribution to the team. The SPHS Baseball Team and coaches Marion Mejia, Paul Kelly, Derrick Jones, Mario Hernandez and Johnito Majerrez would like to extend a huge thanks to their partners Dave and Jo Nisbet, Mark Tatko (International Sports Outreach).

Ambergris Today would like to wish good luck to the team on their first friendly game (this is all in preparation for the championship game in Panama) to be scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Chetumal, Quintana Roo.
