Gerry Meets The Party Caricaturist

Many interesting people from all walks of life get the chance to visit San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize. Glenn Schwendinger, the owner of Rendezvous Restaurant and Winery, gave his great friend a trip of a lifetime by inviting him to visit La Isla Bonita for the first time. This lucky friend is Bill Yim “The Party Caricaturist” from Hong Kong, China. Mr. Yim is ready to take over the island and spread some laughter and entertain to locals and tourists with his fantastic hobby.

A while back Glenn contacted me and spoke about his fantastic deed that he was doing for his very good friend Bill Yim. He also showed me the very amazing, fun and exciting iPad video conference that he set up with Bill for his wife’s birthday (very cool video). Instantly, I was sold on the idea. I was excited to meet this famous and popular “Caricaturist”.

Upon Bill’s arrival at Tropic Air, he was greeted with open arms by Glenn, Colleen, Nicole and myself. He was indeed amazed of the aerial view he had just experienced and now ready to explore La Isla Bonita, but most importantly spread some joy and laughter.

Well he definitely tickled my funny bone during the interview I had with him. This guy is amazingly funny and talented. He definitely blew my mind away when he surprised me with the draw that he did of me; if you don’t believe me check out my video. I’m happy to call him a very cool friend.
