On Friday the 10th of June, Holy Cross Anglican School pupils participated in a ‘Kindness in the Community’ Speech Writing Contest organised by Be Kind Belize.  Be Kind Belize has a number of people to thank and appreciates the opportunity to do so.

On Thursday, May 12, 2011, Be Kind Belize was proud to celebrate the graduation of 25 children from Standard 2 at Holy Cross Anglican School. All of the students had successfully completed the Be Kind Belize program.

Dear Editor:   On behalf of the San Pedro AIDS Commission it gives me great pleasure to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who in one way or another helped make El Show de las Estrellas del Momento a resounding success. My admiration and thanks to the members who worked hard to ensure the success of this event.  I also salute the “friends” of the AIDS Commission who lent a helping hand: Ms. Rosie (Celi’s Deli), Ismael (Holiday Hotel), Ms. Petie, Julio Requena, Lissette Graniel, and Giovannie Reyes (student). Dear Editor,I find it hard to believe that a country that has so much going for it is contemplating taking money from the cruise lines to let them ruin what you have.Belize is a beautiful country with a great opportunity to exploit its environment without destroying that environment.

Saga Humane Society would like to thank everyone for their generous support with our monthly cook-off which was held on March 16th at the Tackle Box Bar & Grill. We raised $1,031.00BZ through tickets, donations and raffle ticket sales.

To Whom It May Concern: It has been brought to the attention of us the residents of Escalante Subdivision that a building and a 120 feet Tower is being planned to be installed in the area. We the residents of this residential area have been threatened by new businesses popping up in the area.
