The 20th annual Coral Reef Ed-Ventures Summer Camp is returning to Ambergris Caye!
The free, fun and educational camp is a collaboration between students from Smith College in Massachusetts, USA and the local Hol Chan Marine Reserve. The camp includes two programs that work to promote the conservation of the Belize Barrier Reef and teach island children about the coral and marine ecosystems. Everything is free and fun!
R.E.E.F Program
Who: Students ages 12 and above (or with prior experience)
When: June 24nd – June 28th, 4–6 pm
Where: San Pedro High School
Youth Program
Who: Students ages 7 – 12
When: July 1st – July 12th, 9am-12pm
Where: San Pedro High School
All interested parents are encouraged to sign their child/children up for the programs. Camp registration forms are available at the San Pedro Town Library on Barrier Reef or at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve Office on Caribeña Street.
