Hope you have enjoyed Part I of our favorite adventures. We have had much fun doing these articles and we are more than pleased to share with your our most memorable and fun outings. Here is part II of our adventures:
Casa Pan Dulce
Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake – Bakers Angels. The Angels took up the challenge to find out how the delicious breads, cakes and treats at Casa Pan Dulce are made and helped out the bakers for the day. Perlita quickly got her hands on the job and helped decorate and prepare a famous and one-of-a-kind crocodile shaped bread. Scarleth prepared delicious pineapple tarts while Sofie helped the girls prepare a delicious cake. Lots of work but we made delicious treats! Mmmm Good!
Harmouch Center
The Angels got down and dirty and did a little tough job at Harmouch’s Center Ltd. Perlita climbed ladders to bring down paint for customers, while Scarleth and Sofie tested the comfort of the mattresses! Sofie got to drive the delivery truck under Augustine and Mustafa’s supervision and Perlita and Scarleth helped load the truck with plywood. Riding bicycles in the store, playing with all the tools and much more. A great day of hard work and play at Harmouch Center.
Moondancer – Halloween
The Angels had a blast at Moondancer Boutique trying on “boo-tiful” and sexy Halloween costumes. We sure had a good time playing cops and robbers – Delsie “The Thief”, Perlita “The Security Guard” and Sofie “The Police Officer”. Let’s not forget the playboy bunny, sexy geisha, angel/devil, dead bride and sexy bride. Moondancer always has great costumes for Halloween and we made sure we looked “boo-tiful” and sexy for all the ghouls and our guys.
Extreme Adventures
The Angels middle name is “Adventure” and so we went to Extreme Adventures Belize to enjoy parasailing and banana tubing. Scarleth and Perlita soared about San Pedro at about 450 feet, enjoying the cool breeze and spectacular view. While the Angels were “flying”, Sofie took over the steering of the boat. And how can we forget our wet and wild ride on the banana tube. The captain of the boat kept trying to knock us off the tube. Perlita kept laughing throughout the ride, while Sofie screamed her lungs out. As for Scarleth, she kept hollering “Control…balance…balance” and this was the trick to stay upright and not fall off. Fun, fun, fun!!!
Papo’s Art Gallery
Dorian’s Angels are artfully gifted, Delsie and Sofie love the art of dancing and Perlita is a rockin’ drummer and talented painter. We visited Mr. Edwardo “Papo” alamilla, who warmly welcomed us to his studio. Delsie prepared the canvas, while Sofie entertained herself painting frogs. Papo showed us how to easily convert a plain white canvas to a true work of art. Papo and the Angels painted a beautiful sunset on the water and is now on display at the Ambergris Today Office. The Angels turned Picasso for the day.
Mermaid Sushi
All girls have seen Disney’s The Little Mermaid and have always fantasized and dreamed of seeing a real life mermaid. Well Dorian’s Angels got to see a “Real Mermaid” and no it was not Disney’s Ariel but San Pedro’s very own Brandi Paige – Brandi Mermaid. It was a first ever for the Angels as we got to experience Mermaid Nyotaimori (body sushi). After helping out Brandi on her display we enjoyed great sushi prepared by Sharon Metcalfe (better known as Sushi Sharon).
Top Notch
Looking “Top Notch” is always top priority for the Angels. Delsie was in heaven when we did this review as she is a fashionista. Perlita is a picky shopper but this time she had a great time as shopping at Top Notch was a breeze. Top Notch has clothes for all kind of tastes. Sofie was in shoe heaven. All girls love dressing up and modeling and looking good and we have a great time looking “Top Notch”.
Marco Gonzalez
Excavating our Past! Dorian’s Angels had the opportunity to visit the Marco Gonzalez Maya Site while a group of University students and visiting archaeologists were working on site. To our surprise the students were working on unearthing a skeleton and Sofie was much pleased to help out. Delsie was lucky too, as the group she was working with unearthed another set of skeleton remains. Busy bee Perlita was here, there and everywhere taking amazing pictures, unearthing findings and even building dirt castles. This was one of the most educational adventures we had!
Severito’s Dental Center
Dr. Severo Guerrero of Severito’s Dental Center was pleased to have us at his clinic and we wasted no time getting prepared and started working on Dr. Guerrero’s teeth. LOL! Yeah Right, we wish!! Delsie got an x-ray performed on her teeth and also worked along with Dr. Guerrero on my teeth; they made a plaque of Sofie’s teeth. Perlita is all about aesthetics, had everything properly washed and sterilized. Not only did we learn about proper dental hygiene we had brighter smiles after our visit.
Train Station Gym (Power Hour)
Dorian sent his Angels to Train Station Fitness Club to shed some pounds at their “Pwer Hour Aerobics”. Perlita, Scarleth and Sofie had a private session with aerobics instructor Yaneisy Zuniga. The workout included circuit training and we were drilled with more aerobics moves. After our workout we got our protein shake to recover from the intense exercise.
Wine De Vine
Wine and Cheese sampling at Wine de Vine. The Angels just wanted to have an afternoon of relaxation and have a great chit chat. We sampled two out of 306 wine labels. White wine and red wine accompanied with a great variety of cheese. We enjoyed the great ambiance and the lounge and bar area at Wine de Vine.
