Year after year the San Pedro High School holds its Miss San Pedro High Pageant as fundraiser event and it is always a highly anticipated show especially for the high school students as several young ladies take center stage and vie for the coveted title of Miss SPHS and be a role model for the rest of the student body.
And this year there was no exception as seven beautiful young ladies, Xenika Armstrong, Porsha Belisle, Jaleni Lawrence, Miriam Palacio, Trisha Acosta, Briceydi Venagas and Fatima Graniel delighted the crowd at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium on Saturday, April 17.
Cultural presentations and the modeling of sport wear was part of the evening but the girls had the attention of the crowd when they all showed off their singing and dancing talent for the talent segment of the pageant and of course they all looked gorgeous for the formal wear competition with their elegant dresses.
The competition was tough as all the girls did their very best to be the judges favorite and claim the crown. Second runner up was Porsha Belisle, first runner up Trisha Acosta and Miss SPHS 2010 was Fatima Graniel.
Hosts for the event were Mr. Angel Nuñez and lovely Miss San Pedro – Raquel Badillo. Congratulations to all the girls for their participation and especially to the new Miss SPHS 2010 – Miss Fatima Graniel.
