The San Pedro High School Male Basketball team won the Regional Northern Game over the past weekend. The island team played against New Hope that ended in a 54 to 65 ball game in favor of San Pedro.
MVP for the San Pedro Team went to Charles Richards and the SPHS Girls team placed third after playing against Muffle’s College. Congrats to them as well.
BB Nationals Hosted in San Pedro
San Pedro High will be hosting and competing in the Nationals this upcoming weekend on Friday, December, 16 at 3.pm. and Saturday, December 17 at 9a.m. against Escuela Mexico. Schools from Dangriga, Belmopan, Cayo, Belize and Orange Walk will be participating in the National Tournament.
The public is invited to the school grounds to cheer on the SPHS Boys. There will be food and drinks on sale and admission is as follows: $3 for public, $2 for students and $1 for children.
Sponsorship – The team is in need of new jerseys and is seeking a donation of $250 to cover the costs. If you are able to assist the basketball team please call Mrs. Concha Flota at SPHS Tel: 226-2045.
