Hol Chan Marine Reserve Coastal Clean Up
This year was the most successful Coastal Clean Ups that Hol Chan has ever seen. Volunteers set out to clean up our coasts early on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Tons of garbage were brought back to the island to be properly disposed of and this would only be so because of the huge efforts by the many volunteers helping to clean out. Volunteers included ACES, Reef Angels, MJ Leslie, Belize Bank, Ambergris Divers, KellerWilliams Reality, Ocean Tide Beach Resort and Javier Romero & Kristin Marin (Projects Abroad).
Hol Chan would like to thank all their sponsors for this year’s Reef Week, The Belize Tourism Board, The Belize Bank, Tropic Air Ltd, Crystal, Coco-Cola, Captain Sharks, Ricklee Response & Rescue (RRR), Castillo’s Hardware, Caribena Enterprises and St. Francis Xavier Credit Union. Much thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s events!
