We all know and love him – Coconut Leo, most famously known on the island of Ambergris Caye for his Bob Marley interpretations and his awesome skills of tree climbing and getting down those delicious coconuts for tourists. Sadly, Coconut Leo lost his home on Sunday, July 8, 2018, in a blaze that totally destroyed the building located in the San Pedrito Area.
Coconut Leo lost everything in the fire and was not at home at the time of the incident. It is said that the fire began shortly after 11p.m., and neighbors and the fire department were quick in extinguishing the blaze before it spread to nearby homes. Police and Fire Department are currently investigating as to what caused the fire since the home was not electrically wired and there was no one at the house when the fire started.
