Tropic Air is pleased to announce the introduction of a factory-new, fourth-generation Cessna Grand Caravan EX. The aircraft made its way to the John Greif Airport in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye late evening on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Tropic Air says that this state-of-the-art aircraft registered as V3-HJA will increase the airline’s all-Caravan fleet to 15 and that it marks a significant step in the airline’s Growth and Renewal Initiative that began in 2023, reaffirming Tropic Air’s commitment to providing a safe and Premium Passenger Experience.

Tropic Air’s new aircraft holds a special place in Belize’s aviation history as the first factory-new aircraft to be registered and operated in the country since 2019, Tropic Air’s last aircraft acquisition.
“Our investment in this aircraft is not only for Tropic Air but for Belize and its future growth,” said Max Greif, CEO & Owner. “This addition reflects our commitment to safety, strengthens our position as Belize’s largest airline offering the most flights, and allows us to confidently expand our service as Belize continues to grow. We are proud to support Belize and most importantly, the communities we serve.”
Tropic Air says it is dedicated to maintaining the largest, youngest, and most modern fleet of Cessna Caravans not only in Belize but across the region. V3-HJA will be operational on routes across the region beginning the end of November.
