The 2025 San Pedro Classic Fly Fishing Tournament, held August 14–16 in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, brought together 18 competitive teams for three exciting days of world-class fly fishing. Anglers and guides chased bonefish, tarpon, and permit across our pristine flats, with daily counts and community gatherings centered at Central Park.
This year’s tournament was about more than fishing, it was about giving back. The 50/50 raffle raised over $800 BZD for the Belize Flats Fisher Association, while after expenses, more than $6,000 BZD was donated to Bonefish & Tarpon Trust and Omar Arceo’s Youth Fly Fishing Program. These contributions will support vital conservation efforts and inspire the next generation of anglers.

Competition was fierce and full of big moments:
1st Place – One Shot Willy’s with 2 Grand Slams
2nd Place – Silver Ghost with 1 Grand Slam
3rd Place – Poon Shack with a Tournament Slam
Special awards also recognized excellence on the water, including the Women’s Award, the Squirrel Award, and other honors that highlighted the talent and dedication of our incredible anglers and guides.
