San Pedro’s growing community will get another major boost with the official opening of Caribbean Tire’s newest branch on Ambergris Caye, the company’s ninth location nationwide. The grand opening is scheduled for this weekend Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025.
With branches across the country, Caribbean Tire has long been a staple for Belizean motorists, and now the island’s residents, businesses, and commercial operators will finally enjoy the same convenience and reliability closer to home. “The public was asking for it, and we saw the demand, so we decided to open one,” said General Manager Kelvin Aguilar. “We have a lot of commercial customers who assist with the growth and development of the island, and we took into serious consideration that they needed a company that could provide a quicker response when it came to machinery downtime.”

The new branch carries tires for golf carts, passenger vehicles, SUVs, and heavy trucks, making it easier than ever for island residents and businesses to access the right products without waiting on mainland deliveries. Caribbean Tire also stocks a large variety of Valvoline lubricants, batteries, hoses, fittings, and a wide selection of tools and car care items.
Shoppers will also find the company’s signature INGCO tools, everything from screwdrivers, pliers, and safety gear to power tools like table saws, road compactors, and heavy-duty rotary hammers.

A full mechanic section in the back of the new building offers professional vehicle services, including:

- Crimping and fittings
For golf cart owners, basic maintenance services will be available such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and oil filter changes, though no full mechanical repairs will be provided at this time.
