It’s getting warmer in Belize; temperatures now reaching the 70’s – Jeje. Even so, it’s been a cold January for Belizeans who are not used to these sudden drops in temperature. A mad rush to wash the sweaters and long sleeve shirts that were in storage for the longest time. With all the deep freeze temperatures in the Northern Hemispher, we were bound to get some unusual cold fronts; unusual enough to cause rare heavy fog conditions on Ambergris Caye.
This week we asked our readers on Facebook to submit pictures that shows how cold it is in Belize. With the lack of snow, everything still looks bright and simply gorgeous; we just can’t help that. But it surely has been cold. Our favorite sumbission comes from Krista Lee Burrows (pic in headline) who showed us the early morning cold dew as fog rolled onto the island. This is not normal for us! Below are more images submitted by our readers. Thank You! and Stay Warm.
