The charming and vivacious hostess of The Oapn Paki Talk Show, Ms. Rosalie T. Staines along with her crew members celebrated 10 years of broadcasting with the production of a Concert Show on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at the Memorial Park in Belize City.
The five-hour show highlighted past exciting guests and interviews, special tourism destination, adventure and reality shows. Mrs. Elvia Staines of the world famous Elvi’s Kitchen here in San Pedro was awarded for her excellent service in the culinary development of tourism industry in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Mrs. Elvia Staines’ daughter, Jennie Staines, received the award on behalf of her mother at the extravaganza show.
Oapn Paki’s 10th Anniversary Extravaganza Show featured musical entertainment by Wilfred Peters Boom & Chime Band, Cool J’s from San Pedro, Belizean Artists & International Ranchera Singer, Ariana from Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico, courtesy of the Embassy of Mexico.
There were special interviews with sponsors of the Oapn Paki Show over the past 10 years. Business sponsors had their onsite kiosk exhibit at the event and there was participation by social and environmental NGOs who have been featured on the Oapn Paki Show over the years. Ms. Oapn Paki herself gave a special performance to highlight the special event. In appreciation to listeners, viewers and supporters over the years, there were many give-a-ways donated by Oapn Paki sponsors.
