Miss World Belize 2025, Faith Edgar, continues to use her platform to uplift Belizean children through her Beauty With a Purpose project, Smiles for Belize. This week, Faith partnered with the long-standing humanitarian organization Belize Mission Project to host a fluoride clinic at Holy Cross Anglican School in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
The clinic focused on preventive dental care, with students receiving fluoride treatments to protect their teeth and hands-on lessons to improve daily brushing habits. The goal, Faith shared, is to help children maintain healthy smiles that support not just physical well-being, but emotional confidence too.
“A healthy smile can transform a child’s life,” Faith expressed. “It affects how they eat, speak, and view themselves. Through fluoride treatments and hands-on lessons on proper brushing techniques, we aimed to protect their dental health while also empowering them with knowledge and confidence.”

Access to dental care remains limited in many Belizean communities, and schools often lack the resources to provide routine oral health services. Faith’s Smiles for Belize initiative works to bridge that gap by bringing care directly to children in their classrooms.
“In Belize, access to dental care can be limited, especially in schools and rural communities. That is why initiatives like Smiles for Belize are so meaningful,” she shared. “By bringing care and education directly to students, we are helping to create a future where every child can smile brightly and proudly.”
The partnership between Faith Edgar and Belize Mission Project highlights the power of community collaboration, compassion, and persistence. For decades, Belize Mission Project has worked to provide free medical and dental services across the country, and Faith’s involvement helps ensure that more children, particularly those in underserved areas, continue to benefit from this life-changing support.
