Having missed out on last year’s party and hearing from Gerry that he had loads of fun at Treasure Island Academy Pirate Party, Dorian’s Angels knew that they could not miss out on the fun this year.
So Delsie and Perlita headed out to the Island Academy’s school grounds on Friday, May 27, to have a plundering good time. Everybody was dressed to impress in their pirate gear and there were even some wenches and swabbies to scrub the poop deck!
The grounds were full and the energy was high as lads, lasses, families and visitors invaded the school fundraiser. The Angels had some great fun because there were plenty of games going on, including bingo, chalupa, poker and roulette for the adults and karaoke and the castle bouncy house for the children. There were also plenty of raffles with great prizes from Chan Chic Lodge, El Pescador and Cayo Espanto, with generous donations from Ocean Essence Spa, Island Pool Supply, Crave Restaurant, Artist Carrie O’Farrell, Hidden Treasure Restaurant and much more.
Dancing, singing, food and drinks kept everybody happy and at the end of the night special prizes were awarded to the best costumes of the evening. All in all, Dorian’s Angels had a jolly great time. So if you missed the Pirate action once again this year, Dorian’s Angels advise you not to forget next year, because if the Angel’s recommend it, you know it’s gotta be good!
