I have to say that Wine de Vine has got me drinking more wine that I am used to. Never much of a wine drinker, now that I have been introduced to the fabulous Friday evenings at Wine de Vine, I am enjoying and learning more about the wonderful world of wines; there are so many flavors and textures to get to know.
I have come to like the socializing at Wine de Vine’s extended hours on Fridays when they close shop a 9p.m. instead of their regular 6p.m. closing time. I’m meeting new people and seeing some familiar faces while enjoying a new ambience. It is lots of fun and I’m working in getting more of my friends interested.
This past Friday, February 18, I took a group to Wine de Vine as Mrs. Flor and her staff were hosting a Pre-Mardi Gras celebration; the real deal just around the corner in New Orleans. There were free Mardi Gras beads & masks and wine Jell-O shots at the door and this time around some delicious hors devours for the customers. The service is phenomenal; the staff knows their stuff!
Amongst great friends and the cozy atmosphere of this extraordinary wine shop I’m having tons of fun at Wine de Vine. I’m definitely hooked. See you there!
