Building San Pedro High

San Pedro High was not built in a day, and neither was Rome. It was Al Felly’s idea that if we taught the students some building skills, they would help to build our new building for San Pedro High. And so San Pedro High School’s biggest benefactor proceeded to supplying all the carpentry tools needed to run a carpentry shop at San Pedro High. This project was made a reality in 1979, only 8 years after the founding of San Pedro High. The shop was set up downstairs of the priest’s house as Father Raszkowski graciously rendered his support. Edwardo Brown, member of the board and the Building Committee happily oversees. And believe it or not, by 1981, efforts were already underway for the construction of San Pedro High School’s new building.
