Saga Humane Society would like to thank everyone for their generous support with our monthly cook-off which was held on March 16th at the Tackle Box Bar & Grill. We raised $1,031.00BZ through tickets, donations and raffle ticket sales.
We want to thank those who entered their Pizza dishes: Laura Sutton, Ambergris Brewing Company, Pepperoni’s, Tackle Box, and Chanh & Dominic – Team Kloisters. Second place went to Chanh & Dominic – Team Kloisters with their BBQ Chicken Pizza. They received a handy mini chopper. First place went to Pepperoni’s with their Sicilian Pizza. They received an electric juicer for their first place win. Congratulations to the winners as one vote determined the difference between first and second place!
There were four raffles for the night. Rebecca of the Tackle Box won two of the raffles then graciously gave them back to be raffled again. The first raffle went to Bob Hamilton who won a pizza and beer for two courtesy of Ambergris Brewing Company. The next raffle prize, a $25 Gift Certificate from Legends Burger House went to Victor Lara. Terry Shoemaker won a custom dog bed courtesy of Kate Vincent of Sew What! And the last raffle prize, a $50 Bar Tab from the Tackle Box Bar & Grill went to Jan Brown.
