Frank Edwards is the man to beat at the Horseshoe Pitching competitions that take place every Sunday at the Crazy Canucks Bar hosted by Don Turner at the Exotic Caye Beach Resort. Nobody seems to be good enough to beat the champ as he remains undefeated for more than 30 weeks now.
Ambergris Today got invited to spend a Sunday afternoon at Crazy Canucks and witnessed the friendly game of Horseshoe Pitching where the winner goes home with cash winnings.
Six teams of two players were competing this past Sunday, and the one thing in their minds was to beat Frank who usually teams up with his wife to play. “Oh, that is impossible,” exclaimed my good friend Jerre Nichols. “We should literally give Frank the money before we start playing.”
But the crowd that gathers at the Crazy Canucks plays for the fun of it and socializing with friends. So if you are up to playing a great game of Horseshoe Pitching or learn to play the game, make sure you drop by Crazy Canucks Bar at Exotic Caye Beach Resort on Sundays at 2p.m. Maybe you might give Frank a good challenge and break his record! Trust me, you will need a high dose of skill and good luck, but win or lose I guarantee you a great time.
