New Year’s Baby Has Arrived
Ambergris Today is pleased to announce the arrival of San Pedro’s first baby of the New Year 2007.
Vicente Thomas Santos was born under the care of Dr. Daniel Gonzalez and Nurse Natalie Palen at the Ambergris Hopes Clinic on January 1, 2007 at 2:35 a.m. He weighed in at 9 pounds and 14 ounces.
Mr. Santos explained to Ambergris Today that they had been expecting a little girl and even painted the room pink and bought everything for a little girl. But to their surprise they were blessed with a bouncing baby boy. Vicente is the fifth child of Delsie and Thomas; their other three sons are Amner, Joshua, and Jonathon and daughter Emilia are also born Sanpedranos.
To the family Vicente is a good luck charm; his due date was on December 29 and the family had been blessed by winning many raffles including a bike and a grand Christmas basket with ham and turkey and much more. And the greatest raffle was being the first new born of the year!

While in Belize city another baby was born at the KHMH at 4:30 a.m. Baby Elsworth Emerson Dominguez is the first child to 18 year old mother Melanie Moguel. Baby Dominguez received gift baskets by San Cas and the Lions Club of Belize.
