Aids Commission Is On A Roll

One of the most active non-profit organizations on the island has got to be the San Pedro AIDS Commission. Since their inception this group has worked tirelessly and effortlessly to raise funds to assist HIV/AIDS patients and most importantly create awareness on HIV/AIDS.

Currently the SP AIDS Commission has embarked in a massive education campaign and is trying to secure sections in all areas of island to pass on positive messages on HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Commission is extremely proud of having recently painted the northern wall of the Caribeña Lagoon side-gas station which now has a mural with a positive message to the community.

“The AIDS Commission would like to sincerely thank Caribeña Enterprises for allowing us to have painted our mural and for donating paint for it as well,” commented Mr. Felix Ayuso, Chairperson of the SP AIDS Commission. “Thank you as well to Mr. Pablo Guerrero for doing a great job in the painting of the mural and for giving us a great discounted rate for his services. Also, anyone wishing to donate us some space on their fence or yard for us to put up educational signs would be greatly appreciated. ”
