Belize City, Belize – November 7, 2011 – Starting Monday, November 7th through to the 11th, the Quality Assurance Team of the Belize Tourism Board will be hosting a series of Hospitality Rallies countrywide in an effort to motivate and inspire tourism professionals all over Belize as we enter the high season for the Tourism industry.
For the past several years, the BTB has held a Tourism Rally in Belize City as an enthusiastic start to kick off the high cruise season and this is the first time that this annual event will be held in destinations other than Belize City. We expect at least one hundred and fifty to three hundred persons from throughout the tourism sector including hotels, tour operations, transportation services, restaurants as well as tourism students to attend at each destination.
Facilitator, Ian Maksik, from the United States has been hailed as America’s Service Guru and King of Caterers and is renowned as a professional trainer, lecturer, keynoter and motivational speaker for the hospitality industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Maksik has trained thousands of persons in every aspect of hospitality from housekeeping to sales, created innovated menus and themes for high profile events, continuously and creatively identified business opportunities all while listening to and exceeding the expectations of guests and visitors. He has been very proficient in finding easier economical and more efficient methods of accomplishing managerial, operational and saleable hospitality procedures which have translated into increased profits and repeat customers.
