San Pedro’s residents are known to be friendly and always sharing a smile with others; one thing for sure is that those smiles are the healthiest smiles in the entire country of Belize. Island residents are blessed to have great healthy smiles thanks to all the volunteer dentists groups that make a huge effort to provide free dental service for all.
This week at the Smile Center at the Dr. Otto Rodriguez Poly Clinic II is a group of hard working dentists and volunteers performing checkups free of cost to the children of San Pedro RC School and Holy Cross Anglican School.
Dr. Louis Lam is a dentist with over 23 years of experience and has been coming to the island and rendering his service for over ten years. It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Lam and his team working along with Dr. Efrain Cima at the Poly Clinic.
“It is a pleasure coming to work here in San Pedro,” commented Dr. Lam to Ambergris Today. “The hospitality given to us by Dr. Cima and the personnel at the clinic is so wonderful and we are just really happy to be back in the island rendering our services to the children of San Pedro.”
Dr. Lam is accompanied by Dr. Jim Snider, Assistant Ashley Czech and Hygienist Kelly Hoffman.
