Police Investigate Shooting Incident Over Weekend

Residents of the San Pablo Area were alarmed to hear a single gunshot being fired in the early hours of Saturday, May 12, 2012. San Pedro Police are investigation a shooting incident which took place in the San Pablo Area leaving a male person in a critical but stable condition.

According to police reports, on Saturday, May 12, 2012 about 2:35am, Police responded to a report of a shooting incident in the San Pablo Area, San Pedro Town. Police visited the residence of 30-year-old, Barrington Usher, where he was seen lying in a pool of blood suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left side of his face.  

The report stated that a 26-year old female reported to police that whilst she was at home along with Barrington Usher lying in bed, between the hours of 2:35am and 2:40am, she heard a knocking on the front door. Barrington Usher then proceeded to open a window, looked out and then is when she heard Barrington talking to a male person outside. She then heard a loud bang and then saw Barrington Usher fall off the bed unto the floor and started bleeding profusely.

Barrington Usher taken to the Dr. Otto Poly Clinic II for medical attention but while receiving treatment he fell unconscious and was immediately transported to the K.H.M.H for treatment. Usher is listed in a critical but stable condition. Police investigation continues.
