Her Excellency Sandra Rosales-Abella, Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras visited La Isla Bonita, San Pedro Town on Friday, March 7, 2014. The purpose of her trip was to officially visit Mayor Daniel Guerrero and present to him the proposal of a sister city relationship between San Pedro Town and Roatan, Honduras.
Mayor Daniel Guerrero met with Ambassador Sanda Rosales-Abella at the San Pedro Town Council where they discussed the forming of a sister relationship between both cities. Although a specific date of the signing of the sister city relationship was not established both parties are equally interested in forming this relationship. Also visiting was Mr. Carlos Villanueva Medina, Minister Counselor of the Republic of Honduras.
