A release form the Belize Police Department indicates that the family of Jose ‘Milo’ Aljemiro Paz, 49-year-old, Belizean, pilot of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, has filed a missing person report. Conflicting reports at the time of his disappearance, various news media services had Milo perishing in a plane crash in Panama, Central America.
The police report indicates that just yesterday, Friday, December 7, 2018, Milo’s wife, Ermijines Paz, filed a report that on October 3, 2018, at 3:00 p.m., she dropped off her husband Jose Aljemiro Paz at the Airstrip in San Pedro. Up to the time of filing this report, Jose has not been seen or heard of. Milo’s wife further stated that on October 9, 2018, she received information that her husband was in an accident and died; however, there is no confirmation if Jose Aljemiro Paz is alive or dead. There are many unanswered questions as Police continue their investigations.
