Hon. Michel Chebat, Minister of Health and Wellness reiterated his commitment to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, making a donation of equipment to the San Pedro Poly Clinic during his visit to the island this week. He was a special invited guest at the Town Council swearing-in ceremony that took place on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Adding strength to his donation and verbal commitment to improvements for the island, during his address at the swearing-in ceremony, he stated that his ministry and government will deliver the hospital that has been promised to the island for the past 13 years by the previous administration.
“I have seen Wally and his team working and I know that together they will make a difference for San Pedro,” stated Hon. Michel Chebat. “Our commitment to you is to continue working to the best of our ability to turn this country around. To make sure that we have jobs, to make sure that people get back to work, to make sure that we have proper health care for everyone.”
