Tropic Air commenced service to San Ignacio, Cayo on Monday, Novermber 15, 2021. Flights will initially be on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and are timed to connect easily with most international arrivals and departures at the Belize International Airport as well as Tropic Air flights to Cancun, Roatan, Placencia, Dangriga and Punta Gorda.
“We are excited to be able to resume service to San Ignacio” said John Greif III, President of Tropic Air. “As the only airline with scheduled service to the Cayo District, we are proud to continue growing our extensive domestic and international network and delighted to be able to once again connect Cayo with the rest of Belize”
“San Ignacio is only one part of our commitment to grow Tropic”, said Steve Schulte, President of Tropic Air. “Today we are also restarting services to Flores, Peten, increasing service to Roatan and Cancun, and adding more frequencies to San Pedro. We also hope to finally commence nonstop service to San Salvador very shortly. Tropic is expanding domestically and regionally, and we intend to continue to do so in 2022”
