At the tender age of seven months, Baby Daniel Estell, son of Ilda Guerrero and Daniel Estell, was in desperate need of a liver transplant as he had been diagnosed with disease called Biliary Artesia. This disease is the blockage in the tubes (ducts) that carry liquid bile from the liver to the gallbladder.

In August 2011 Baby Daniel celebrated a year of recovery and almost two years now he travelled back to Columbia for a follow up check. Mother Ilda Guerrero stated that Baby Daniel is very healthy and living a normal life after surgery. She also stated that doctors have lowered the dosage of his medication and is thankful to all the residents of San Pedro who have helped and have had baby Daniel in their prayers.
