Graffiti is writing or drawings made on a wall or other surface, usually as a form of artistic expression, usually done without permission and within public view. Our little town is coming alive with lots of colors and spectacular graffiti drawings and in most cases with permission of the owners. Business owners are contracting the graffiti artists to spice up their building.
This week we shared with you a cool pic of the week where you can see an awesome drawing of a brown skinned girl rocking a “tree” fro! And for your enjoyment we went around town to take pictures of other cool pieces of art work. Most of the art work can be credited to graffiti artist Elvis Eddie Aldana, Eddz 501, who says, “I plan to continue doing more on the island and try make all these bad signs go away and change the idea people have of the vandalism graffiti.” He is in the planning stage of a Graffiti Fest for San Pedro. That sounds exciting.
