Another ‘mini’ beauty queen has been crowned in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize. Linzy Williams won the title of Miss Chiquitita San Pedro over the weekend at the pageant held at the R Angel Nuñez Auditorium on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
A large and excited crowed witnessed the entertaining pageant that saw five young girls competing for the popular title of Miss Chiquitita. Carolina Salinas, Linzy Williams, Sandi Flores, Evelyn Pichola and Monique Garcia graced the stage in four segments of the pageant that included swimsuit, talent, career and evening wear all carefully looked over by the judges.
The night was filled with great entertainment by the San Pedro Dance Academy, Give It All Girls, Neslen Rivero, Ill Kid and Miss A.C.E.S 2016. The Pageant was hosted by Mr. Angel Nunez and Adrianne Hernandez. Outgoing Miss Chiquitita Killianie Sosa gave a dance presentation and farewell speech before crowing the new Miss Chiquitita Linzy Williams. Coming in second place was Monique Garcia and awards were given out to Miss Congeniality Carolina Salinas and Miss Photogenic Monique Garcia.
