We are running on the last days of summer and island students are getting ready to head back to school. But summer vacations on the island were full of camps that allowed island participants to enjoy a variety of fun activities that included arts and craft, sports, water activities and educational activities that had them expanding their young minds.
One of the last summer activities that was available on the island was that of a Vocation Bible School/Bible Camp “Champions for Christ” hosted by the San Pedro Roman Catholic Church for one week from August 17 to 21. Sixty five children participated in arts, music, faith sessions and game stations.
The Bible Camp was conducted by volunteer local parishioners and the Sisters of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity.
