Belize’s newest and second Road Warrior Lebawit “Lily” Girma has been blogging away about her experiences and trips all over the country. Her latest stop is our beautiful Isla Bonita, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
Lily’s mission – to capture the cultural explosion at the Costa Maya Festival and we noticed her every night at the festival backing two large cameras. Her wonderful pictures can be appreciated on her blog. She has already posted some wonderful images and as she continues her stay on Ambergris Caye she will be posting more images and information of her experiences.
Ambergris Today’s Editor, Dorian Nuñez, caught up with Lily at Central Park during the Costa Maya Festival Beach Party. She had nothing but great things to say about her time in Belize so far. She commented that she was excited for her scheduled trips in San Pedro and Caye Caulker which include a fly fishing lesson, a trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve/Shark Ray Alley and a visit to the Marco Gonzalez Maya Site in San Pedro, among others.
We thank Lily for painting such a beautiful picture of our home with her fantastic pictures and writings. We wish her a wonderful stay in Belize and we will be reading all of her post. Nice to meet you Lily; all the best!
