Professional fly fishing guide, Cesar Acosta and tourists were treated with a rare sighting this week while fishing in the flats of the Bacalar Chico Natural Reserve in northern Ambergris Caye, Belize. Cesar shared his video with Ambergris Today as they got up close and personal with a jaguar that was swimming across the lagoon next to a dolphin that was following them during their fishing expedition. “Awesome experience to see a jaguar swimming from island to island on the flats while heading to the permit grounds,” stated Cesar on his social media accounts. “Got to protect our wildlife so our future kids and friends enjoy them like we do.”
