Oceana is holding a “Hands Across the Sand” event as a show of support against offshore drilling/exploration in Belize. The event will have participants joining hands to end our dependence on oil and coal and embrace a clean energy future for a sustainable planet. Safe food, clean water and clean air are the essential fundamental elements of our survival as a species.”
Say No to Off-Shore Drilling and Yes to Clean Energy with San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. On June 25 go to the beach front one block east of Front Street. The event will start in front of the Holiday Hotel and extend in both directions. At noon all the participants will join hands with the rest of the World for 15 minutes.
