Beginning Monday, June 23, 2014, Zen Arcade will be running a Summer Play Club for Rugrats ages 5 – 11 years old. Zen Arcade will offer a different activity each day to create stimulating and enjoyable play in a safe environment for all children.
Summer Play Club Run Monday, June 23 – Friday, August 1, 2014
Schedule:
Monday – 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. – ARTS & CRAFTS: Create different individual and group pieces with an emphasis on recyclable and repurposed materials.
Tuesday – 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. – MUSIC: Make instruments, create songs and beats. Enjoy sing-a-longs as well as guest visits and instruction from local musicians.
Wednesday – 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. – AROUND THE WORLD: Learn about different countries though stories, food, language and crafts.
Thursday – 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. – DRAMA: Have fun with role-play and improvisation. Create props, mask and costumes to accompany presentations.
Friday – 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. – DANCE PARTY AFTERNOON!!! Make decoration, party favors and food then Dance! Dance! Dance!
48 hour pre-booking and payment required!
Individual 3 hour session for $30
5 Session pass for $125
6 week advance booking $600.00
Zen Arcade offers hourly day care at just $15 per hour!
Rugrats Play Club will be run by Kimberley McIntyre. Kim’s mother is a Belizean and her father is from the UK. She was trained in the UK in Early Childhood Development and comes to us with six years experience in the field working with children of all ages. Kim was also a private nanny for three years.
She has a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and is sometimes referred to as Mary Poppins! 😉
