There is a sense of sadness with any farewell, but in saying adios to Chichi Fe, there is a sense of happiness as we celebrate the life of a wonderful person. The island community of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, says goodbye to a beautiful person who was fair with everyone and did only the righteous.
Adieu to a loving mom, a humble provider who made sure her children had a good upbringing and a fine education. Bye to an admirable wife who stood faithfully to her companion at a time when chauvinism kept women in the home and home alone. We celebrate a jovial woman who never complained but rather faced life with positivity and optimism. In her humble life, Chichi Fe found time to have fun dancing and even playing carnaval.
Angel Nunez who celebrated her life in the eulogy finalized by saying: “We can all be proud that Doña Fe lived all her life in humbleness, but departed not like a queen, but a Queen who is now with the Angels and Saints in Heaven to enjoy a life of eternal peace and happiness.”
Ambergris Today extends sincere condolences to her children -Nando Trejo, Orlando, Lucero, Dorita, Carmita, Ariel, Ruben, Marisol, and Ruby as well as to her immediate family, grand children and great grandchildren, sons and daughters-in-law. May her soul rest in peace eternally.
