The Belize Tourism Board is offering scholarship opportunities to interested applicants for Tourism Programs commencing August 2018 for Full – time Students for the following degrees:
1. Associate Degree in Tourism (Two Year Tuition Scholarship)
Requirements: Applicants must submit a certified copy of their High School Diploma, an official transcript, two BTB recommendation forms, a page which describes your career goals and aspirations, proof of Belizean Citizenship and a copy of the acceptance letter into the Tourism Program for 2018 at one of the Junior Colleges or Universities offering the Tourism Program.
2. Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management (Two Year Tuition Scholarship)
Requirements: Applicants must submit a certified copy of their Associates’ Degree, an official transcript, two BTB recommendation forms, a page which describes your career goals and aspirations, proof of Belizean Citizenship and a copy of the acceptance letter into the Tourism Management Program at the University of Belize.
3. Jean Shaw Scholarship (Two Year Full Scholarship)
Requirements: Applicants must be female Belizean citizens wishing to pursue a Bachelor
Degree in Tourism Management. Interested applicants must submit a certified copy of their Associates’ Degree, an official transcript, two BTB recommendation forms, a page which describes your career goals and aspirations, proof of Belizean Citizenship and a copy of the acceptance letter into the Tourism Management Program at the University of Belize.
4. Scholarship for Culinary Studies
Requirements: Applicants must submit letter of acceptance into a culinary program, an official transcript of last school attended, two BTB recommendation forms, a page which describes your career goals and aspirations and proof of Belizean Citizenship.
Application deadline for BTB Scholarships is Friday, June 29th, 2018 and application forms can be obtained by contacting BTB at training@belizetourismboard.org. Completed application forms can be submitted to training@belizetourismboard.org.
