On behalf for the entire community of San Pedro, Ambergris Today congratulates Dr. Lucio Nuñez as he graduated a Doctor from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Pinar del Río in Cuba. Our island community is very proud of his achievement and wishes him the very best in his medical career. Lucio was an outstanding student at San Pedro High School and St. John’s College Sixth Form, even receiving top marks in the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) exams for the country of Belize.
“The privilege to hold the ‘Dr.” title in front of my name has cost me countless hours of sleep, missed birthdays, all my holidays and seven years away from home. Today I, Dr. Lucio Nunez, am grateful to everyone who in some part helped me along this road.” – commented Lucio on a Facebook Post.
