Dorian’s Angels at Bar 208
Dorian’s Angels are seen, here, there and everywhere. Oh, yes we love going around looking for adventure and for fun stuff; always visiting new places and being invited everywhere. San Pedro is a party place; everyone loves to go out and have a few drinks and socialize with friends and this week Dorian’s Angels did just that at the island’s newest hotspot – Bar 208 at the new Tropic Air Terminal Building.
At Bar 208 you have the choice of sitting by the bar and enjoy sports matches on their 42” plasma HDTV’s or sit down with friends in their comfortable lounge area. And well the Angels, being as spontaneous as we are, got behind the bar to mix up drinks with head bartender Gary Greif. To start off Gary prepared one of his signature shots – the “Sweet Angel”. He had not found a name yet for the shot until we arrived. So now Dorian’s Angels have a shot named after them. The shot is a mixture of Coconut rum, Midori melon Liqueur and Grenadine; boy was this good. You have got to try them!
Angel Perlita, Angel Delsie and I had our turns in mixing up drinks along with Gary. We could say that if Bar 208 ever needs assistant bartenders we could be called to work! LOL!! Some drinks included Cosmopo-lychee (Grey Goose Vodka, Lychee, Cranberry juice and lime), Mexico Rocks (Gin, Blue Curacao, peach schnapps and lemon), Jolly Rancher (Raspberry vodka, Sour Apple Liqueur, Banana Liqueur, Cranberry Juice) and Coconut Martini (Vanilla Vodka, Coconut rum, coconut crème), all of which were fantastic!!
Dorian’s Angels were more than impressed with Bar 208’s top of the line selection of drinks and superb service. And although we did not try them we were told about their great specialty and flavored coffees which are served during the day.
Bar 208’s Daily Happy Hour is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Be sure to drop by for Margarita Mondays for special prices on all margaritas, for Whiskey Wednesdays to get special prices on Whiskeys, Bourbon and Scotch and Martini Thursdays where they offer special prices on Bar 208’s exclusive Martini’s.
Bar 208’s modern and sophisticated look goes great for private parties, reunions and office parties. For those sports enthusiasts you can enjoy your favorite boxing, American football, soccer and UFC matches. Be on the lookout for Bar 208’s food menu, the management of the bar is presently working on finalizing their food menu and will start offering breakfast, lunch and bar snacks daily.
