Isla Bonita Elementary School Mural Fundraiser

On Saturday, April 9, Isla Bonita Elementary School held a community fundraiser where the island residents were invited to partake in the painting of a new school mural. Dorian’s Angels could not miss out on the fun of painting and helping out the school.

After having purchased our cup of paint we were more than eager to start painting. The Angels shared in the fun with Gaven Zapata (Angel Perlita’s son) and Isariel Muñoz (Angel Sofie’s son) as well as other school children.

The project was organized by volunteer Arts and Physical Education Teacher Natalie Burk. All donations collected went towards the school’s art program for the purchasing of art supplies for all the students to enjoy.

The Angels had a fun day helping out the children and participating in a community event. So when you have time pass by Isla Bonita Elementary School and admire the hard work of the many local children who helped paint the mural.
