Restore Massage with Vicki Ellias at Zen Arcade
Who doesn’t love a relaxing massage? Angel Sofie cannot have enough of them! Lol!! Zen Arcade has a warm, comfortable, quiet room where soft music is played while you receive your massage to help you unwind your stress away.
Vicki is very professional and after briefly discussing general health questions and reviewing Sofie’s client form, Vicki suggested Sofie to receive a combination of a Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. She started off with a basic Swedish massage using long, flowing strokes and gently kneading the muscles. Your body becomes relaxed and pressure is gradually increased to relax specific areas and relieve areas of muscular tension.
The deep tissue massage manipulates all layers of muscles; slow firm strokes and direct pressure are used to specific muscles groups. Vicki worked her hands intricately on Angel Sofie’s back releasing pressure and on trigger point areas. After a 30 minute body work session Sofie did not want to get off the massage table!
Restore Massage promotes the prevention and natural healing of repetitive-use injuries so those afflicted with chronic pain can find relief and restore hope. Vicki Ellias graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Fox Valley School of Massage in Appleton, WI, USA. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Wisconsin, USA. Vicki is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) and maintains current certification in Community First Aid and CPR. She practices traditional and Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, pre-natal/postpartum massage and the Muscle Release Technique.

Pampering at the Beauty Bar
It is a fact that all girls love pampering. Most, if not all women, make a trip to their favorite beauty salon at least once a month. Did you know that Zen Arcade has its own beauty bar? It is the newest one in town where they offer cuts, color, styles, nails, waxing and facials. Wilda McIntyre has over 20 years working experience in the beauty field. Wilda, along with Erin Bradley, are at the beauty bar offering the very best in cosmetic beauty treatment.
Angel Perlita, having natural beautiful finger nails was up for a manicure by Wilda. Having delicate hands and sensitive skin Angel Perlita is always a bit hesitant when it comes to getting manicures but Wilda is quiet a professional and exceeded Perlita’s expectations.
She worked gently on Perlita’s hands, filing, shaping off the free edge of her nails, pushing (with cuticle pusher) and clipping (with cuticle nippers) any non-living tissue from the nail plate. After a soft massage, Perlita chose her favorite nail polish color to enhance her fingernails – black of course, but a hint of silver was adding to the beautiful nail decoration. Angel Perlita loved it!!
After her massage, Sofie received a pedicure (same procedures as a manicure) a superficial cosmetic treatment of the feet and toenails. Pedicures are done for cosmetic, therapeutic and medical purposes. Pedicures are not just limited to nails; usually dead skin cells on the bottom of feet are rubbed off using a rough stone called a pumice stone followed by granular exfoliation, application of moisturizing creams and a brief leg massage. Erin worked on Sofia’s feet and made an intricate flower design!

Rugrats Play Club
Enjoy getting pampered at Zen Arcade knowing that your child is in a safe environment and in good care at the Rugrats Play Club. Parents can enjoy all the great services at Zen Arcade (or any other activity in Town) knowing that their children will be taking good care of in a safe environment, playing, learning and having a good time at the play club.
Rugrats Play Club is managed by Kim McIntyre, daughter of Wilda McIntyre. Kim was trained in the UK in Early Childhood Development and has six years experience in the field working with children of all ages. Kim was also a private nanny for three years and has a Level 3 diploma in Childcare from the United Kingdom.
While in the Rugrats Play Club care your child will have the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts, yoga and creative-learning play. Reservation is recommended!
Zen Arcade is located one block west of the Island Academy (a left trun behind the Bowen and Bowen (Belikin) warehouse or 1/2 block south of the Poly Clinic; it’s a blue and white building. Be sure to drop by and don’t forget: If Dorian’s Angels recommend it – It’s Gotta Be GOOD!!!
