Back To School

Back to school is the same today as it was back then. It is all about wearing your neatest uniform and your best pair of shoes as well as having a neat hair cut and looking sharp. It means having your school bag with all your textbooks and equipment ready to challenge the day’s lessons. And this is exactly the feeling that Hilly Boo, I mean Gilberto Lara, had on opening day at the San Pedro R.C. School back in the 1970’s. The only difference is that Hilly Boo had the pleasure of walking down the middle of the street with no traffic to bother him, and he could have taken off his shoes to enjoy the sandy and grassy streets of the 1970’s.
