San Pedro Christmas in the 1960’s

Don’t be scared Children. Christmas is Christmas only that Santa had to wear a mask here because of the dust and the strong glare of sunlight in the tropics.  Santa arrived from the North Pole to the tropics in the 1960’s by skiff and Emcee Allan Forman entertained him and some 200 children at Central Park where gifts were distributed. The toys included pop shot guns and plastic dolls along with an apple and a pint of lemonade, but Mandy Gonzalez, The Forman girls, Clive, Pacha, Nadir, and all the Island kids were delighted to have Santa in the village.  Christmas is Christmas and that feeling will never change, never end.  Merry Christmas to everyone from Ambergris Today and our Flashback contributors.
