– Press Release – Mojito Bar & Grill will be hosting its first annual “Shrimp Fest” this Easter Weekend Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4, 2010 from 9:00am through 6pm.
There will be a mouth watering array of Shrimp prepared in every culinary assortment to satisfy every appetite. Fry Fish, BBQ Fish, Chicken, Pork, and Sausage will also be available as well as our famous $5.00 Assorted Fresh Fruit Mojitos.
Activities for this grand event includes a “Peel n’ Eat Shrimps Competition”, Shrimp Ceviche Eating Competition; Mojito Drinking Contest, Beer Pitcher Drinking Contest, Beach Games, and a Bikini Modelling Show starting at 2:00pm on Holy Saturday sponsored by China’s Clothing.
Live music and entertainment will be provided by the Mighty Cool J’s Band with guest performances by singing sensation Sweet Tea and the ever irie Faya Links. Trophies, Cash & Prizes will be awarded for the best “Decorated Shrimps Booth”, “Best Tasting Shrimp Entrée”, and “Best Shrimp Appetizer” on Easter Sunday afternoon.
Limited food booths will be available. Anyone who would like to have a food booth or participate in the “Shrimp Fest” can sign up at Mojito Bar & Grill at the Sun Breeze Suites on the beach across from the Belize Bank. The Shrimp Fest promises to be a fun filled weekend. So bring out the entire family!
