Buena Vista Restaurant A ‘Dine’amic Experience

At Buena Vista, gourmet dining features a menu that includes home-baked breads, fresh seafood, and the best of Caribbean and Central American cuisine offered during their popular Belizean Cultural Night every Tuesday and Endless Pasta Nights on Italian Thursday Nights. Guests at the restaurant are pampered with a lot of kindness and personal attention by general manager Gregory Cob and staff, who go the extra mile to provide their guests with a spectacular dinner experience. Great music is provided by the Super Latino and Faya Link (on Tuesdays) with their enticing Punta, Cumbia, Reggae, Soca and popular music and Live Jazz Music (on Thursdays).

As guests enjoy the starlit evening of poolside dining, the buffet table is readied and replete with delicacies including mango & beans salsa, potato salads, Cole slaw, tamales, stew chicken, beef and pork, Belizean rice & beans, fried plantains, flour tortillas and much, much more and all this is prepared by Chef Erol Garnett and his Assistant Neal Cabral. Let us not forget dessert, with the ever popular Key Lime Pie and scrumptious Caribbean Coconut Pie, Yum!!!

As part of their Belizean Cultural Night on Tuesdays, Captain Morgan’s treats their guests with a night of cultural experience. Local artisans display their hand made jewelry and clothes under the stars. To entertain their guests, the staff of Captain Morgan’s organize a one of a kind game of musical chairs with the fantastic music by Super Latino and also host several raffles for the guests to win fabulous prizes.

Tuesday nights at Buena Vista Restaurant is a one-of-a-kind experience and a must for visitors who are looking for great entertainment. On the other side of the coin is Italian Pasta Night held every Thursday. The dinner setting for the evening is much more serene set by the mellow Blues and Jazz sounds of live saxophone music.

Italian Thursday Night offers an Endless Pasta and Salad Bowl where you can sample as many types of pasta while dining. There is Shimp Alfredo, Vegetarian Pasta Nest, Chicken Pesto and a Tuscan Marinara with a Meat Sauce to choose from. You will never go hungry as you can order as many times as you wish. On the buffet table, a fresh garden of vegetables is set for you to create your own salad bowl to combine with pizza, garlic bread and bread sticks. The evening is very relaxing as you enjoy a starry night, the fresh gentle breeze and a quiet setting.

Captain Morgan’s Retreat is located only about 3.5 miles north of San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye. Captain Morgan’s is a popular destination for people of all ages, yet the resort retains a private, intimate atmosphere that guests find irresistible and unforgettable.
