The Island of San Pedro is mourning the death of the reigning Mother of the Year, Mrs. Eriberta Nuñez de Guerrero who passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2008.
Ambergris Today and San Pedro Town would like to express condolences to the her family.
Eriberta Nuñez de Guerrero was born on January 31, 1934 in the island of San Pedro. Her parents were Francisco and Julia Nuñez and grew up along with three brothers; Fortunato(deceased), Eulogio (deceased), Rodolfo (deceased) and her four sisters; Lidubina,Edita, Adela and Lumanda.
Mrs. Eriberta Guerrero was married to Berlios Guerrero (deceased) and is mother of five children: Judith Bradley Magaña, Carlos Bradley, Francisco Javier Bradley, Marco Antonio Nuñez and Berlios Guerrero.
Mrs. Eriberta accepted Jesus Christ as her only Savior and devoted her life to him and was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church by Pr. Reid. She was a Christian devout and a very good friend.
When she fell ill you never heard her complain about her pain. Instead she thanked God for having given her life. Mr. Eriberta sang with all her heart while she was ill and counted the Miracles of God as he had blessed during her life.
She is survived by many friends and by her brothers and sisiters of the faith, by her children Judith, Francisco, Marco and Berlios; Sisters Adela, Edita and Lumanda; thirteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Eriberta will be sadly missed by her friends, family and the community of San Pedro. Rest in Peace Mrs. Eriberta Nuñez de Guerrero.
