NACNW Children’s Trash Day Drive

>The North Ambergris Caye Neighborhood Watch conducted a Children’s Trash Day Drive in December 2005 in children from the San Mateo area successfully cleaned up roads and beaches north of San Pedro Town. The children filled over 100 bags of garbage in just over 2 hours fifteen minutes, which were then placed on a garbage truck.

>For their hard-work, the children were offered cash prizes and plenty of hot dogs and cold Winning Teamdrinks. The North Neighborhood Watch will run the same project again on the first weekend in February 2006 to make the area clean for the Tsunami Skydivers who will be back on February 10. Thanks is given to Pat Stiley, Harriette Fisher, and all those who donated money, clean-up items and/or their time to make this a very successful project.
